757 Makerspace, Norfolk (737 E. 23rd Street)
Pricing
Flat rate. Month to month, no long term commitment.
Lease Terms
Renews automatically each month unless either party gives notice. Either party may end the agreement with 30 days written notice.
Exterior "Skoolie" Space
You get a designated exterior space to park and work on your bus, plus 24/7 access to the Norfolk facility. The exact spot may shift over time as we develop the outdoor property. The space covers your project only. Hosting group events or having non-members use tools needs to be arranged with us first.
Vehicle Condition and Removal
The vehicle must be in running, drivable condition and able to move under its own power for the entire term of this agreement. Non-running or non-drivable vehicles are not permitted in the exterior space. The member is responsible for keeping the vehicle drivable throughout the project. If the vehicle becomes undriveable for more than 30 days, or if payment lapses or the agreement is terminated, the member must remove the vehicle within 14 days of notice. A vehicle left beyond that period may be treated as abandoned and removed at the member's expense.
Facility Access
Full access to woodworking, metalworking, electronics, and other equipment at both the Norfolk and Hampton locations. 24/7 access so you can work on your own schedule. Not sure how to run a tool? We can teach you. Instruction is available at an added cost that varies by tool.
Member Benefits
Priority booking on shared machinery. Discounts on classes, workshops, and materials. Option to feature your build on our channels for added exposure.
Support and Maintenance
We keep the equipment maintained, and our team is around to help when you hit a snag.
Usage Rules
Only members covered under this agreement may use the tools and equipment. Group events must be approved by management before scheduling. Members follow all 757 Makerspace rules and applicable city ordinances. Violations can result in termination of the membership and lease.
Vehicle Damage and Liability
757 Makerspace is not responsible for any damage to your vehicle while parked on the premises, including damage from weather, accidents, or other unforeseen events. Keeping your vehicle secure and carrying appropriate insurance is your responsibility. By enrolling in this plan, you agree to hold 757 Makerspace, its affiliates, and its employees harmless from any claims or liabilities arising from parking and working on your vehicle in the designated space.
